Was 1997 the first year to introduce the sequential gear box in WRC? Looks like a mix of both standard and sequential in the vid. Ridiculous driving!

I guess to me it depends on the service contract. If it says "we will provide a Mercedes brand loaner vehicle" then I agree with the outrage. If it stated that we will provide alternate transportation and did not stipulate vehicle type then he has no leg to stand on. The Lexus contract simply states a free loaner

Ok... Some times the Lexus dealer is out of loaners and I have to drive a Camry or Prius. Should I be outraged? No they are providing you transport while your vehicle is being serviced. It should not matter what type of car it is. If they say free service loaner and don't spell out the type of car in your service

Wait? They offered him a perfectly fine rental car to use instead of the Merc and the guy got 5 grand on top of that? How is offering him something besides a Mercedes unfair treatment? You got a ride to use while your car was being serviced stop complaining.

My turbo subaru buying advice. Pull downpipe check turbo for shaft play, compression and leak down test, check under the car Subarus rust. Check cv axles for torn boots, check driveshaft u joint, run through the gears of transmission (if manual). They can be noisy but you shouldn't hear a whine or grinding noise,

To bad the 4 speed auto is such a turd of a transmission.

+1 for the plate tectonics reference.

So anyway: you have to go to the dealer, which I did. I waited three days for an appointment, I drove 35 minutes to the dealer, and I had them patch my tire. And the cost of a tire patch at a Ferrari dealer? Seven bucks for the patch. One hundred sixteen dollars for the labor. I am not making this up.

Highly recommend the January event! Last year was 40 degrees with 20-40mph winds and 1/2" rain per hour. Talk about learning car control in extreme conditions and controlled environment!

The Northwest has a great local race scene and several good clubs. Obviously you can do the Dirt Fish Rally School in Snoqualmie, WA but the best bang for your buck track experience is the local Porsche club skills days. These are great events where you run your car around a Slalom, Skip Pad, Figure 8 track, and

How about this Datsun 210 racecar for 3 grand. Leaves a lot for new race bits.

I actually don't hate that either. Scrap those hideous wheels, loose the amber indicator, and change that front lip a bit. Not bad.

Whats the difference between a 800hp Supra and a stock Supra? Nothing! They both run a 13 sec 1/4!

I slogged around for a week and a half in France behind the wheel of a Renault Twingo 3 cylinder. I hate that car with a passion. What worthless turd.

8000 hours went into what a four year old would draw? I think you kind of half assed guys.

According to him he was selling 30 cars a month before the new sale manager started...

Its a Dodge Challenger. The dealership is right up the road from me.

They might be nice... But the owners park like assholes. I guess this is a zdx but it's the same thing.

Local ICSCC racing at the Ridge in Shelton,WA. I mean not quite as good... Still e30s,spec Miatas, rando corvettes,Porsche, spec race cars. Always entertaining.

Ahhh... the Uppipe on the picture above is the tube with the flex joint. Almost looks like it has an integrated wastegate on top of the flex portion as well.
