Perhaps US Senators should have better things to do with their time. Boy, people are really overreacting.

I've been pretty happy with my iPhone 4 battery and used to have to plug in the 3GS before the end of the day. I understand that the battery is fairly easy to get to, unlike with the 3GS, so I'm thinking that perhaps when the phones warranties run out people will upgrade them with a custom-designed higher performance

It seems reasonable to me that Skype wants the ability to control how people use their offering. Hopefully something will be reached to bring Skype video back over 3G.

@Dawgvet06: Absolutely, you could do so! That would be a nice pic too.

I really hope hybrid drivers will take the ugly stickers off their cars after they can't use them anymore. Every hybrid and alternate fuel vehicle displays this status on the rear anyway, so I'm not sure why they needed stickers anyway.

@Dawgvet06: No, a hybrid is not considered electric vehicle. People are electrical too. I love how the Fry's in Sunnyvale still has GM EV1 Chargers.

RIP, Sidekick/hiptop. I ditched the BlackBerry in 2002 for the original Sidekick at launch. While I switched back to BB when it didn't keep up and then went on to iPhones, it did some things really really well for ... 8 years ago.

By entering your password here, it becomes inherently less secure! IP + password = fraud.

@NatureNerd: I was looking for posts like this. The point isn't to add ground effects to the phone, but it should be to protect it.

Since it's not the right fit, I'm sure there's a few minutes where a non-competition race could be run on the track at X-Games.

@FriedPeeps: I'm pretty sure iPhone was thought up long ago, especially since Apple started the iTrend. Apple however keeps things quiet until it's ready. As I recall they worked out a deal.

@Schalliol: Ah ha, with the MasterSwitch and environmental monitoring card, I suppose I could use the closure system and avoid messing with the power itself.

I just use an APC MasterSwitch to control power to the devices over the network, but I like the idea to automatically cycle power to the modem based upon the internet connection. Nice.

How fast is this thing, and how likely is it to explode? This would be useful information.

This is a bit pricey, but it's nice to see it could help with adoption of the higher res connection than HDMI

@Wildcat_1: Mine shipped and supposedly will be arriving today in Sunnyvale

@Time Pilot AKA: I look forward to integration into other apps. Would be great if you could somehow make Skype chat work with Jabber

@ModernBawhair: Good point. While some people will be upset who thought they'd get them day one by going to the store, perhaps if the servers aren't able to handle the activations, this is preferable.

The title of this article is misleading, the policy says that it is collected "anonymously." People are welcome to suggest that Apple will do something different than what it says it will, but putting something like this in the headline affects perception.
