But Patrick! It’s inspired by NATURE.

This comment should be at the top of the stack. Well said.

That 2nd picture is like the Venom to Supra’s Spiderman

I just came in here to say: That is a slick integration of the grille and headlights, great job VW.

Nope. It’s pretty expensive too imo, so I opted not to splurge for one since mine already has some form of all weather mat, albeit not as nice as the Subaru mat.

(Without going back to re-watch that part) Perhaps it was not the greatest analogy, but here’s how I was imagining it: Every material will twist, even if it’s minuscule, right? So the longer the shaft is, the more twist it should have.

You are correct in assuming traction control is on by default, pushing the button will turn it off. I don’t know if your xB modulates the brakes or the throttle to act as its traction control, but those differences were described in the video. Turning off your traction control will allow your wheels to slip and spin

That is what the interiors of both years of 9-2X look like (‘05 & ‘06). The back hatch, bumper and taillights are different from a WRX as well. Seeing as how this car also has the very rare 17" Saab wheels, I almost guarantee it is a real 9-2X.

Damn, I am sorry to hear about that! It sounds like it could have potentially been a lot worse. Best of luck on your recovery.

How did you lose a finger??

If you can’t see the pedestrian, and can’t feel anything when you drive over them.. did it even happen?

Don’t forget about the new ZR1 Corvette. It has 755hp, weighs about 3550 lbs, comes standard with a 7 speed manual & will do ~212 mph. I get your point though, there’s not many left. I for one think the new Challengers are awesome!

Of all the 4th gen Trans Am photos out there, it’s impressive that you managed to use a photo of a euro spec one.

Proofreading?!?

I used to do this all the time. The last time I did this was in a Taco Bell drive though roughly 2 blocks from my old duplex. I forgot to turn the headlights back on and got pulled over on my way home. The cop gave me a written warning, even after I explained what happened and where I was going. So, I don’t turn off

I just looked it up on google maps. There’s a black one parked on the end with with torque thrusts, looks pretty rough. His shop sign is hilarious!

I see one of these in the metro STL area once in awhile. Pretty cool sleeper considering most people don’t know what they are!

I didn’t realize the price on these ever fell. I’m guessing around ‘08, along with the economy? Seems like these cars have climbed about 10k in the past decade or so, based on my craigslist shopping from time to time.

A ‘69 coupe is my somewhat attainable dream car. At least for now, the prices keep heading north..

That’s a hell of a deal for all that work. Hard to say what the quality will be, being a school.. but the price is right!
