Hmm... not really sure what your point is, but I did not learn about the first woman you mentioned, and I took several AP history classes at my public high school so I even got a better Western-centric history education than most of my public school peers.

I absolutely adore reading stories like this. I always resented women getting the shaft in history class so these make up for it a little for me. It's sure easy to feel like white men are the only ones who ever accomplished anything the way our textbooks tell it.

I have to agree with this. Man-whores usually are really great in bed and typically do at least somewhat enjoy the company of the women they're sleeping with. I keep a few in my rotation, and they're like a fun "boyfriend-for-a-day."
