It’s good that the police get a FUN case now and then. Helps with the stress of violent crimes, I imagine.

Seriously. We get snow, rain, ice and exotic mixes of all of them during the winter. Motorcycles don’t ride well when it’s slushy
With you on that. Just got 2' last week here in CO. Would have been a joy to get to work on my bike then. Motorcycle is my commuter of choice, but only when it is actually feasible...like late April-early Oct here.
Reading deeply between the lines, it seems.
Somehow a USDOT exec theorizing that this admin will be as bad as his last admin on smaller transit is equal to “Trump Put Biking and Busses on the Chopping Block.”
Ah yes. That mild year round weather of New York. Perfect for riding.
In general rail is better for moving freight than trucks, but you still need trucks. True cross country trucking isnt really a thing, it tends to be internodal. They swap containers at places. I dont see them building thousands of miles of new rail lines to hose truckers...its flat out too time consuming. But then…
So, rather than spend money, see no improvement in light rail and cycling infrastructure but constantly talk about it, we’ll instead save money, see no improvement in light rail and cycling infrastructure and not talk about it. Yeah, the next four years sure looks like a hellscape.
Can someone give more detail on 1st gear? It sounds like the whole section is based off a quote that doesn’t even mention cycling or busses.
“Your father’s wrong. You weren’t adopted.”
The tiny tracker’s rise to prominence seems like a missed opportunity for airlines. Major carriers could have designed their own in-house GPS bag tracking system and charged passengers for the privilege of using it.
It was the zoomers this time, not the boomers.
I used to live near Scottsboro, Alabama. They are very proud of this place called Unclaimed Baggage, where they buy lost luggage and sell all the stuff they find. In general, it was a great place to get stuff like Bose QC headsets and iPads and nice clothes fairly inexpensively.
I was expecting to see some flavor of lifted Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator with constipated face headlights, LED light bar, front bumper winch, extra gas cans and a Punisher decal on the rear window.
Most MAGA people I know, and I know a lot, probably own Toyotas more than anything, especially Tacomas.
Car’s trashed. Moose inside shoulda told ya.
I don’t blame the guy for hiding. If you’ve ever seen a moose in-person, they are roughly the size of a Suburban and are terrifying.
Great story! Sorry about your balls.
It’s amazing how stupid people can be. When I was around 12 or so, my dad was driving our short bed truck with an 8 foot ladder in the back. We stopped at an intersection and we got rear ended by a guy in a restored 1st gen Mustang that had just come from the paint booth.
I’m going to go a bit out of character here and advocate for the giant corporation:
