Yup.  From what I read, the go kart track was not permitted and that dad is threatening, I guess, to put in a helicopter pad if the track is removed?  It all sounds like a root-for-no-one type situation.

Not much sympathy for a guy who chose not to pull a permit. In my experience building inspectors have a high tolerance for honest mistakes, not much for obvious disrespect.

A neighbor built a dirt bike track in his back yard. My only concern is that the kids sometimes leave the track and end up in traffic, but it’s pretty slow there.
