Holy SHIT I haven’t seen that bit in 30+ years. I remember being in grade school, allowed to stay up later than normal to watch V and eagerly discussing it the next day in 7th grade. We were all suitably horrified.

I thought the bit where Geordi and his daughter had their little family time was distracting at the least and poorly timed at worst- they had ONE HOUR to get to the fleet museum and back. Not necessarily the most convenient time to have family talk, ya know?

I hear ya. I really do. But I’ll freely admit I’d watch the HELL out of a show featuring Captain Show, Lt. La Forge, Seven and Picard’s son in engineering or medical.
