Thank Dog, I thought I was gonna have to watch an episode of Discovery
...I keep reacting to everyone’s favorite moments in this thread, and most of them move me to tears. Or at least chokes me up. Boromir’s final stand is another one of those.
That scene always chokes me up.
Yup.
Best scene, best music... and it really was, at that moment, that the tide began to turn for the good guys.
It makes me wonder how these things are going to be on the used market. You can get a used ICE vehicle and be reasonably sure that it’ll be mechanically sound or, if not, that it can be repaired in at least a somewhat cost effective way.
This is the meat and potatoes of it. So long as the interest rates remain the way they are, this is a band-aid on a gaping wound.
I still don’t see how we as a society can drag people who’re willingly choosing to be ignorant into the realm of actual facts. If somebody believes the earth is flat, or that there’s a pedophile ring under a pizza place in Washington DC, is there any hope to get them to pay attention to a warning video telling them…
Don’t we always?
You’re better off not watching any of that monstrosity. Evil is head and shoulders better.
People gotta be people.
Seriously, I would’ve burned that place down as soon as they landed at Dragonstone.
Nah, his licenses are PISSED.
Hey, if they keep up this cloning stuff, who knows? Some kind of virus might (probably will) mutate and wipe us all out! There ya go!
Don’t get me wrong- I totally dig Tom Hardy. But (hopefully) whoever plays Doom keeps the mask on most of the time, so the voice would be critical (moreso than the actual actor- like James Earl Jones’ Vader).
Holy shite, I had no idea that was Mark Strong!
Seriously, I think this is the best take. It’s the voice that counts.
Yeah, but I’d like to, you know, understand what Doom is saying. Call me crazy...
