It’s a unique and especially deep form of grief, losing a pet, isn’t it? I hope you’re able to take at least some comfort in knowing that you’re not alone in this grief. 

My dog passed in 1988. I’ve never gotten over it, and haven’t had a dog since. Your story about the vine and the bones brought me to tears, btw. 

It’s called “tortie-tude!” I love ‘em. Had a dilute tortie myself, and she was the smartest cat I’ve ever known. 

That was my issue as well- no real side effects, the shot was easy-peasy, but boy oh boy was my shoulder upset with me the next day!

I read this, and immediately thought several different things that all totalled up to one conclusion: I’m going to hell. 

Right?? It’s like aliens who’d only ever seen drawings of human beings decided to cobble two together out of clay or something. 

True story: I saw Independance Day opening weekend, and the theater was packed. We’d all just seen earth get its ass kicked by the aliens, and the mood in the seats was pretty tense.

You know, I’m really starting to think this guy is no good. 

I’m all for mild electrocution. 

Christ, when I first heard this story I off-hand though, who are they going to blame for this? Asians? Or women? It was a sarcastic thought. I see now I was too optimistic.
