Obviously pets aren’t the same as babies... but maybe getting a puppy would be a way to get something adorable to snuggle that will never talk back?!

He kills me daily, the cute little goofball. Currently scarfing down some tidbits from my salmon dinner I made earlier. Yeah, we don’t spoil him at all.
I wouldn’t have much patience for someone who is really really into mostly one-sided conversations. Men who like to hear themselves talk get boring very quickly.
GET IT GIRL.
Adam Driver’s performance was quietly compelling. I also thought Walter and Felix were portrayed well (even if Felix was a bit of an odious stock villain). I kept trying to place the actor who was Walter, because he looked familiar (like a young James Spader/James McAvoy hybrid with a terrible haircut) and I knew…
I’m a very, very, very infrequent poster, and anything I do post typically hides in the grays, but life has been a roller coaster lately and I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to vent.
Just wanted to share some online dating progress, I guess. I have kept up with checking in on the sites I’m on each day for a couple of weeks now. I’ve gone out with three guys and have a date with another soon. Great conversations with everyone but nothing has really clicked yet. The guy that I was most interested…
In any case, Lakeith Stanfield and Steven Yeun gave wonderful performances.
I loved how many ideas and visual concepts were packed into Sorry to Bother You’s heightened-reality/bizarrely surreal world, even as it went off the rails in the third act. At that point, my viewing relationship to it changed to going along for the ride, whereas before I was closely engaged with just how spot-on the…
It does. She is a delight. I make up little songs and sing them to her. Sometimes while holding her and dancing. She is very tolerant.
kitten life..... keeps you sharp :p
enjoy the furball :)
I saw that earlier this month. I agree it was both really funny but heavy handed in spots (and the 70s dialogue between the main character and his BSU girlfriend sounded really scripted and unnatural), but I was really impressed with Adam Driver’s performance. I was constantly worried he was about to be found out.
Evening Jezzies, how are you all tonight?
Good evening, Jezzies. I had a nice long thread about our new cat, complete with a photo but, it was taking so long to upload and seem to stall so, I am starting over. A while back I asked the Saturday Night Social Hive Mind about advice in regards to owning a cat and, you all delivered.
Saw BlacKkKlansman. Great film overall which is both surprisingly funny given the subject matter and deals with the danger/threat of WS/Nazis in an impactful and much needed way.
So I was fully prepared to hate/laugh at this Bradley Cooper movie, HOWEVER the reviews are all saying it's actually pretty fucking good. So.
I went to see a film that is “indy” in this country so had to travel to the city to see it and definitely didn’t end up spending £30 on books on top in an impulse buy...
Greetings from Eureka Springs, Arkansas!
I’m in a hotel in Mississippi on my way to Texas. Moving is scary and I miss my puppy so much.
