I'd rather see money spent in other areas. How about gun reforms and efforts to start programs that help curb crime before it starts? How about we fucking try to get to the root of the problem before we start recording anyone that comes in the vicinity of a cop car?

I don't like the films of Gilliam. As for the Kubrick Spielberg comparison, the whole thing is all a matter of opinion. Of course the one thing that can be said is that there aren't many directors around today to deserve to be compared to Kubrick in any way, so that is a point for Spielberg.
