The author clearly doesn’t know LA very well. Silver Lake is in no way “exclusive” and most definitely is not one of the most “expensive” neighborhoods. It had some cache because it was considered to be the “hippest” neighborhood in the country a few years ago. But it’s certainly no Beverly Hills/Bel Air/Los

Silver Lake is one of the most exclusive and expensive neighborhoods in L.A.

You can get away with cold eggs if you’re using a stand mixer to make a pasta dough, but if you’re kneading by hand you definitely want to use room temp eggs or the dough will be impossibly stiff.

What the actual hell is the tone of this article???

The obvious desire to insinuate that Alec Baldwin is criminally responsible for purposefully shooting someone is gross.

Why call out that there was no definitive proof the gun was not a prop gun, but not any of the other facts of the story that came from the same or similar sources (i.e. the investigators)? Seems like you’re trying to imply something.

What a cunt move, Shannon. “Alec Baldwin discharged a firearm on the set of his latest film” is followed soon thereafter with, “The firearm, which is being referred to as a “prop gun” in the media without any definitive proof that it was not a real firearm...”

What the fuck is this headline? It makes it sound like Baldwin was complicit in some way in the shooting. I get it, he’s an asshole, but there’s literally 0 evidence that on his end this was anything but an awful accident. The prop guy may be culpable, but Baldwin sure as shit isn’t.

I read this article ages ago and is about one woman’s experience doing just that: https://www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2014/07/08/this-is-what-happened-when-i-drove-my-mercedes-to-pick-up-food-stamps/

Guy Fieri hosts so many shows that leverage other talent:

It’s not just $80 million to $100 million.” Imagine being so detached from the value of money that you would utter the word “just” before saying $80 million.

Flay cheated on Stephanie March while they were married. I’ll never not give him side-eye because of that.

Have a buddy whose restaurant was on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives twice. He says Guy Fieri is totally the guy you see on TV - very silly, but super nice and actually kind of humble.

I always wanted to take “Beat Bobby Flay” literally

Guy is an amazing person who came out and cooked for free a huge bbq for fire fighters in California working on the Dixie Megafire this summer.

Don’t forget that Bobby Flay started a GoFundMe because he didn’t want to pay his employees during COVID-19.

I completely agree. I work at a large food bank and we never ask for income information. Even people who look good financially on paper can be struggling. We’ve had many people use our services temporarily so they can afford things like replacing the car they need for work. Means testing would mean what? They have to

Two things leaped out to me here because I have a chip on my shoulder about them:

Not going to lie, I thought KKW did a good job.
