So does the .org indicate that Blow Me would have been a non-profit?!?

Lol. Knowing more than my fair share of Massholes, that might be fair after all ;-)
Ha! I edited my comment because I read the abbreviation as Arkansas, not Alaska and felt stupid (still less stupid than this congressman). But no, Alaska is not the northeast either! So my original comment about it being a lame attempt stands. It’s a weirdly inaccurate shorthand for “the enemy,” like calling all…
Edit= nvm, can’t read.
Shit, I read half of Cloud Atlas and I STILL don’t know what was going on. I can’t even imagine what the adapted screenplay was like.
I’ve seen this a lot on old signs— quotes were used for emphasis instead of bold text. There’s one in my parking garage that says:
Seriously. Instead of just ushering her out the door, he chose to stand in it and block her, then escalated when she tried to get by him to leave.
No one said that it was a shit degree, or that graduates don’t have valuable skills. But it does tend to be a catch-all for students who don’t have a strong inclination toward any other major, especially as underclassmen.
I’m so glad his poor uneducated friend will never read that garbage article, since the NYT requires proof of income and a passing grade on a culture test before you can access the site.
I think it’s a very good thing for potential shelter owners to truly understand that they might be dealing with a pet who has issues and behaviors that aren’t immediately apparent or easily trained away. Too many pets are re-sheltered because people go in blindly and don’t realize that it can be a large…
I’m glad that you’ve been successful three times; you sound like a great owner. But your experience is NOT universal. Not all abused dogs recover or can function safely in a family, even with the kind of commitment you made. Calling an owner and professional trainer’s experience bullshit when you don’t know the dog or…
I’m not convinced he knows who that is!
Someone in an earlier post said that it’s a common posture for men with testicular pain. That plus his big gut would explain it.
And once he does choose from one of his 100-word vocabulary, he insists on repeating that word several times. I find that most annoying of all of his vocal tics.
I hate that large companies use infringement claims and C&Ds as cheap scare tactics. I’m glad that she got EFF involved; they don’t fuck around.
Home prices may be affected by her commentary, but that’s not the legal argument Zillow is making. They took the lazy route thinking they could scare her. Most site owners don’t fight infringement claims.
I literally just said it to myself this morning after an evening of trying to figure out why I’ve been ghosted by an otherwise good guy. Still just as helpful as it was the first time!
If you do some googling, you may be able to find a stylist or salon that specializes in color correction. Those people are geniuses. I had to do it once after I destroyed my color with a series of boxed dyes. It’s expensive and it can take a while if they have to do multiple processes, but so worth it.
I don’t know what they’re actually thinking, but it’s such a simple red flag for the reader!
