Yes. It's gorgeous.
Yes. It's gorgeous.
Stunning. Want. NOW.
I need this dress, and an event to wear it to, STAT!
The wound care nurses always fascinate me. And they all seem to really LOVE what they do and find it so fascinating and rewarding. ::shudder::
Well, thank god he's a DOCTOR.
This this this this this. "Oh, well I know you women said this was happening but I didn't believe you. But now I experienced it (for two hours) for MYSELF, and OMG YOU WEREN'T JUST MAKING IT UP!!! My bad!"
I don't care if texting sticks around, but can we please get rid of the "text talk" that's invading ALL written communication? ICU & UR CRZ, l8r, lol!!! Make it STAAAHHHP!
I'm shocked we did this well. Damn overacheiving (aka what the rest of the country needs to catch up to, STAT) West Coast is probably all that kept us from utter failure.
I was gorgeous. I want to get married in this dress.
I want to get married in this dress.
You can do it!! And meet new runner friends! I can't imagine you'll be left in the dust with that pace/distance base.
This dress is AMAZING.
That's awesome! Yeah, I'm straight but the biggest reason I left my last church was because of issues around their stance on women and around LGBT issues/gay marriage. I also work in an HIV clinic and have so many patients who were so traumatized by their experiences with the church I just can't imagine going…
Yeah, it's driving me insane too. I feel like that only works in memoirs in short "flashback" type episodes and as a specific writing choice to highlight a certain event. I find it so SO off-putting and I'm getting annoyed with the writing style, which is keeping me from getting into her story.
Left Hand of Darkness was the book my ex kept trying to get me to read when he was pursuing me. I kept not reading it and he kept racking up library fees. He finally bought a copy for me to read because that was cheaper than the library fees, lol. I really liked it, though it took me a little while to get things…
Thanks for this thread! I always want book suggestions, though currently I'm not allowed to buy any new books and must work my way through the many unread books on my book shelf. I just finished The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and yes, I realize I'm super late to this party. But once I got into it I couldn't put it…
I generally love memoirs but have had a hard time getting into Don't Let's Go To the Dogs Tonight. I just went through my book shelves to get rid of/donate things, and it is in my pile of "things I must read before next summer or else get rid of."
I use this site: http://www.gaychurch.org/find_a_church/
Ugggghhh. My only memory of my mother being pregnant is All The Puking. Puking in the kitchen sink. Puking in the car. Puking in the parking lot. SO MUCH PUKE. It is my biggest fear should I ever get knocked up.
I love Romy and Michelle. That is my contribution.
