This is pretty much it. Which is nice because they can keep rolling out backstories, current stories, and future stories to keep it fresh, whereas WOW is retreading their lore with different timelines. Plus what Trystero said.

I agree(d.) Even though alt timelines/story redos and all that are my least favorite storytelling device ever, WOD did a really good job. I felt epic, the stories were epic, and I ended up caring for the characters in the questline in a way I hadn’t felt since I first entered the game.

I just consider the Overwatch game itself to be the equivalent of the X-Men’s Danger Room for the characters. No harm, no foul.

Honestly I don’t see why people are complaining except for the price. It’s way pricey for what it is. I love that type of game but I’ll wait for a sale, problem solved. That sucks. I have an 11% accuracy rate. LOL. Most of the time the team makeup doesn’t allow for Widowmaker and I just switch to Zarya, who really only needs to be facing the same direction to hit someone. (I’m always the lowest level on the pug teams, by a lot. Whyyyyy?)
