I get that Daryl doesn't mind being grungy and disgusting and looks good doing it, but I refuse to believe that he would turn down the first chance at a hot shower in over a year. Showers feel amazing just after you've been camping or something, even Daryl surely isn't immune to that feeling and fresh sheets.

They'd all also clearly talked before the speeches came. They'd updated each other before Rick started his "WE ALL NEED TO BE SUPER-DUPER QUIET YOU GUYS!!" speech.

I think they were trying to have everything shown from the perspective inside the walls, to try to induce a sense of being surrounded and trapped. But they only managed to induce a sense of boredom and eye rolling at the terrible conversations which developed nobody.

We can't even see the "explain what wasn't clear in the actual show" show here in the UK, so I need to come here to find out these things. Good thing I like coming here anyway!

I had a lot of issues with the sound this week. Laptop speakers can only cope with so much whispering before they give up telling me anything.

I did like that the guy who was the same size as four normal people got the line "I'm not gonna watch my family starve to death".

Upvoted for Sunny quote!

I was convinced they were going to kill off Carol instead of Beth at the hospital too. I'm also sure they'd considered it. The episodes leading up to it, with Carol and Daryl bonding, her coming to terms with the loss of Sophia, and how she'd basically completed her story arc while they seemed to be trying to build

I desperately want to see a zombie with a traffic cone on its head now. Make it happen, TWD! That would have livened this episode up a bit!

Thank you!! I was surprised Zach didn't spot that, given that she was re-packing the basket Spencer had stolen, clearly because she was going to return it.

Since she was shown playing with her wedding ring for a long while before urgently moving to sketching, combined with telling Rick she wants to live, it seemed to me as if she was contemplating what Reg would have wanted, and trying to overcome the powerlessness and hopelessness she felt.

Michonne/Daryl. They would be a power couple, and not stupidly sappy.

It was spelled out in the first episodes that that half of the herd was heading towards Alexandria anyway because of the horn. Rick alone wasn't enough to lead them away, so he just (barely) outpaced them so he could get to safety and regroup.

I can't see Rick and Michonne hooking up. They've spent a lot of time together, and never shown a spark of attraction or chemistry, although I do think they make an adorable family unit with Korrrrrl.

Glenn used one back at the prison to get him and Tara out. But that's the only one I can recall right now.

For sure Rick should have outpaced them easily since he was going at full pelt.

That would have been a good time for Rick to mention that you gotta get them in the head. Could have even had a moment of humour in an otherwise dire episode.

Pregnancy hormones make you crazy! Also make you not want to git ate by dead folks.

Agreed. This is the first time I've been totally tuned out for most of the episode, waiting for a worthwhile scene that never came.

I wasn't expecting to get an answer about Glenn until the mid-season finale, but now it's occurred to me that they may even try to drag it on even longer, and not resolve anything until after the mid-season break. I will be mighty pissed if they try that, that's too far in this emotional manipulation.
