Literally mentioned in the second paragraph of the article:

Already answered elsewhere in the thread.

So much for the person who said “I think it’s best not to be so judgmental of others, or be so quick to draw conclusions on their motivations when you can’t read their minds.”

No, I didn’t. Reread my exact language. I said might be and possibly. It’s not like we took some tests to measure who was smarter.

What makes you say I’m casting myself in the best possible light at their expense?

Well yeah, dates in general rely on a person taking what they’ve been told by another person (their profile and conversations) and putting that together with their body language and behaviors to make judgments about whether that person is who they say they are, and would be a good fit to date.

Sure, I’ve been on dates with all types of people and not everyone clicks with me. But in this specific subset of dates, i.e. cishet men who identify strongly as sapiosexual, the pattern was that he’d bring up something cool he clearly thought he could wow me with, but then his face fell when I was actually versed

It’s not every guy, but boy is it That Guy.

That’s not how things went on my dates, but I don’t doubt your experience in the slightest - counter-productive flirting styles definitely exist.

Yeah, I agree that it’s both a bit pretentious and mostly harmless. Also, my limited experience doesn’t cover everyone who claims or has claimed the label, and each platform’s user base is different, especially depending on the city. Bumble was a complete ghost town when I tried it here in Miami...

Coming from you, I’ll take that as a compliment.

Yes, that’s been my takeaway as well.

My personal anecdata.... I’ve been on several dates with guys who listed sapiosexual as their orientation on OKC. It turns out they only enjoy smart women until they discover the woman they’re on a date with might actually be smartER than they are. Then they seem to wither at the thought of possibly not being the

I enjoyed Blair this episode but has anyone else noticed that she has a penchant to give herself saggy boobs when she’s in drag? Last week her boobs were lowriding and while this week wasn’t as bad she once again had odd boob placement.

But c’mon, you gotta admit that Mayhem’s move was lyrically resonant in a way Sasha and Karbie’s weren’t. It comes on the heels of “glad I came here with your pound of flesh”, and she uses it to punctuate “You wanna part of me? Well I’m not selling cheap.”

Awwww, for some reason it seems to have stripped my youtube link to the Key & Peele sketch called “Continental Breakfast”. Makes me sound more like I’m insisting on some objective reality, rather than referencing one of my all-time favorite sketches. Stupid Kinja.

I believe it’s a fpoon.

But she ended up sending it to her, along with DEREK!! So Eleanor did right by her after all...

I agree that Tyra’s win was justified on her season, but the math doesn’t come close to justifying your remark that she had the best track record of all 100+ queens. I looked at Wikipedia’s contestant progress charts, just at the winning queens:

In Florida, AP & Honors courses got higher than a 4.0 since at least back when I was in high school in the early 90s. I graduated in 1995, and I wasn’t something new.
