I wholeheartedly agree that every genre has at least one or two gems. Shit, even reggaeton has Shakira & Alejandro Sanz's La Tortura…
The one where she's triplets! My grandma loved Lazos de Amor, it was so ridic. I still remember the finale, when you think the "good" triplet is the one who has the happy ending but she does that little pinky/eyebrow thing at the last moment to let you know it was actually the malvada triplet! Epic.
I can see the resemblance to Moss, personality-wise.
Yup, I quote it all the time too. Soulmates!
Only The Blacks and The Mexicans and The Elitists can actually know The Numbers exactly. It's a C-O-N… spiracy.
Xo is CLEARLY a character who has made up her mind regarding additional children - her conviction that she did not want raise another child was strong enough to cause her to break up with the man she clearly loves. She is also significantly less religious than her mother or even Jane. To show her waffling about…
Very much appreciate that thoughtfulness, especially considering how few good, thoughtful decisions most people make at 12:30am.
Thanks for the reply - that was the info I was able to pull with my Google-fu, too. Wonder how they got that many queens to show up if they weren't already in town for something else?
Do you know when this episode might have been taped? For WoW to have corralled that many past contestants into being in the audience, they were likely already in town for a finale or drag con or something. There were lots of east coast & southern queens there and I KNOW WoW didn't pay to fly all those queens out just…
Can she become friends with Maria Bamford and appear on her show?
You might be making an uncharitable read of her motivations for choosing to sue him directly rather than in his corporate capacity. I believe I read there was an arbitration clause in her FOX contract, and she wanted to be able to sue publicly and openly and not under the rules of arbitration, where it was more likely…
I got a Community notification for this?
I love him in pretty much everything. His current look is very Ignatius J. Reilly, though. Someone should consider casting him.
It's like BK's singular goal in life has become to produce the most disgusting "food" imaginable. If their damned mocha iced coffee wasn't so good, I'd never end up in their drive thru again.
No, which is precisely what makes it so awesome. Their mutual enmity is just an thing that exists, without explanation for the audience, but very very real and very very hilarious.
This comment makes me want to set up several sockpuppet accounts just so I could upvote it over and over. But alas, I am lazy, so here you go instead:

Anderson is consistently the weakest part of the show, but the rest of the cast makes up for it. Besides Traci Ellis Ross, Jenifer Lewis, Laurence Fishburn, and Deon Cole, the four kids on that show turn out to be reliably funny. I think if you give it a shot, you'll find the show is not what those first few minutes…
Roxxy and Coco I could do without, unless either of them somehow gained a sense of humor about themselves in the interim.
