Excellent list of safety precautions. Snacks and sunscreen are also a good idea.

When people tell me (or share articles that imply) that this game is dangerous, I remind them that going outside was always dangerous.

You’re so nice.

Of the 18 articles on the front page of LH right now, 1 is about Pokemon.

This is how I felt the first few days.

Don’t click on articles with the words “Pokemon” in it. That will utilize the little control you have over what other people enjoy.

When the comic book series ended, they said that Jack had given up trying to get back to the past, and had instead rounded up his new friends and was working to change the present/future.... or future/present...something like that. Basically the last book was a montage of everyone he had met to face Aku in a single

It was. I’m certain the comic book’s success helped drive a new animated series.

Side question: why do people seem to schedule everything on the same Saturday night? I feel the worst when I have to turn down parent-friends I haven’t seen in awhile. I had to turn down three things this weekend because everyone wanted to do something at the same time on the same night. But I could go months before

I include a “?” in the title if I need an answer to something. I believe it cues the person to give a faster response.

You are a good person. I am a lazy jerk. I cannot get my emotional side to understand this very logical fact.

Thanks for your answers! I almost use the restaurant method, but I put the scrubbed dishes in the second bin until it’s full, and then rinse them all at once. I like your idea better.

I have two on-the-counter drying racks and I hate them. Nothing seems to fit and everything falls over. I fill both up every night and

What is the best method to wash dishes by hand? It’s a two sided sink with a crappy faucet. Related question: what’s the best drying rack? Are portable dishwashers worth it or not?

I get Stella from my grocers. Not the best, but better than the pre-shredded stuff.

I loooooove my coffee. I recently switched from Starbucks to a local roaster. Much nuttier and fuller in flavor. I get an Americano and either put in a dash of milk or a scoop or two of sugar.

Aaaahhh coffee. Just having a cup by my side makes me feel better in the morning.

“....that Europe doesn’t label added sugars....”

I could only hear that in a whiny teenager’s voice:

“Europe doesn’t have to put added sugar on its labels! Why do ***I*** have to put added sugar on my labels??? You are the worst department of agriculture EVER!” ::slams door::

I hadn’t tried cheese IN the egg yet. Just a nice layer on top.

I was talking about something like this earlier this morning! I scramble it and put it in the microwave until it puffs up. I check it, decide if it’s good or too runny, repeat until firm. Perfect for breakfast.

Oh yeah, THAT’s why I started reading Transmetropolitian!

I hate people who have given up and take everyone down with them. They refuse to follow simple rules and wonder why the managers are on their case all the time. And they pull the double standard of “nothing works around here” and then huff and puff when they have to do something in a different way.
