I'm self studying Japanese and I'm an English only speaker. I like taking my time vs having class schedules that require quizzes and stuff. I use Anki Droid and JapaneseClass.jp.

I use "honestly" as my version of, "Imma let you finish buuuuut....." I also try to use non personal pronouns when I'm trying to appeal to a group of people. Instead of, "I need you to," it turns into, "It's best when everyone...." I'm looking over emails now to see if I sound like a huge liar :)
