Well played! Congrats ;)

The manual transmissions on older Toyotas were amazing. I learned to drive stick on an AE86, and the clutch felt responsive, forgiving, and very easy to figure out. Perfect for someone learning to drive manual, even on hills, as you mention.

That's actually what makes it more impressive. Almost nobody cares about these, so to see one in pristine condition is rare, at best...

'Strip time?

20 years ago, I could believe it for Land Rover. Granted, it wasn't exactly a new truck then... But still...

Meanwhile, in Australia...

What the truck are they thinking? That's trucked up... I just can't be forced to give a truck anymore.

Duly noted... I think I'll be running my car at Sears Point now. I've heard the surface sucks at Sac anyway.

The disturbing result of this will be people cracking down on strips and other legal venues that allow you to quench your thirst for speed. They'll be shut down, and more people will take it to the streets, thus resulting in more misdirected and stricter laws against car modifications.

Must have been GWKR Chopper #5.0

I'll go over there and say unsavory things about his mother. If that does not succeed, I shall taunt him a second time.

Nope.

From the listing site:

I cringe to think of what "Full Service" involved...

An American, two Brits and five Germans walk into a pub...

For a front ender, maybe. Unfortunately, as awesome as these are, they tend to be much less safe if rear ended, as your kids are kinda sitting in the crumple zone...

Next thing to make a comeback needs to be rumble seats, like these, seen on an early Thunderbird at a local car show.

So glad to have you back.
