Great for Serena, I guess. But can we please please please go back to normal proposals soon? You know, the kind where two people that are planning to spend their lives together anyway, decide in a mutually informed and consensual and non-surprising way that they will marry.

But a natural disaster is not really an apocalypse, is it? Wouldn’t good neighbours and some cash savings be more useful than e. g. a gun in the event of an earthquake?

It’s actually hard to believe that you do not seem to have anything at all... almost all European countries, even the poor ones, have some sort of public, cheap daycare for children. It’s not perfect in any way, but at least we have *something*. Do none of the american states have public daycare?

So happy to be Scandinavian...
