It’s funny how just a trial order by some major trucking companies was already seen as a big win.

“Pre Orders”
Oh, man, those videos of “the big reveal” with the software-bro-VCs on camera claiming they were going to run over and “make a deposit” on a Founders Series Semi... What utter horse excrement. That’s a business that runs 100% on the numbers, on cost efficiencies, on hitting your weight and time targets.
I’m curious to see if the semi can actually deliver on TCO since that’s all the matters in the commercial market. No truck operator cares what it looks like outside of lowering TCO.
With their repair service taking so long I can’t see any trucking company wanting to own one, they don’t want their trucks off the road for hours let alone days or weeks, thats what would worry me if I was buying one
Uh, remind me again... why bother with low-volume “vanity” projects like Roadster-II? They did that with the first roadster, accomplished objective. Done.
Answer: At no point.
Except the XC90 isn’t hideous.
I honestly see the new Blazer in the front but with a Cadillac badge.
i think that is an insult to volvo!
It looks like a Traverse with a CT6 front end. From the side, it just looks like a Traverse. It has the proportions of a cow. Hooray for luxury minivans sans sliding doors!
When you’re tasked to stretch a cadillac body onto a traverse architecture, passion goes right out the window.
This is my issue with electric cars; we already have an iffy electrical infrastructure in the first place that nobody wants to pay to replace, so let’s hook up a few million cars to that and everything should be skippy in the end right!
So, sounds like you work for a car dealer or car company. This may not sound fair, this may not sound right, but, as the people supplying the product that they want to use, it’s on you to make sure they are aware and have a plan for the prerequisites necessary to support that product.
Look at those insulators, I’m sure it will be fine...
This x 1000. Every apartment complex, townhouse community, etc. No one has the capacity to have mass amounts of EV. This is only going to get worse before it even remotely gets better.
It’s an 11-year old Cobalt with a GM ignition switch and a Takata airbag. Inciting a high speed chase and ensuing crash constitutes attempted murder.
But that wasn’t the case at all if you read the linked articles. They were looking for him and found him after he “made threats of going to a residence in Windham and causing harm” . They pulled him over and saw nobody was in the car with him. “Deputy Joseph Dyer stopped Tucker at the intersection of Routes 302 and…
yeah... they know who the guys is, they know where he lives, where he works, what car he is driving... he’s not a criminal mastermind, they can just pick him up later. if he was involved in a “domestic situation” just protect the other party and scoop him up wherever.
You shouldn’t hate to be “that guy.” You should hate that other people think it’s a good idea to endanger the public to capture petty criminals.
