Elon would have this finished in a week. I think he has an old sub which can be retrofitted for this job.

Kind of a bit heavy-handed to say it isn’t a Corvette if it’s not exactly the same.  It’s almost like arguing that a man named James who names his son James, doesn’t allow said son to be accepted as part of the same family, all because he shares the name of his father.

It’s better than a Corvette. As, arguably, every Corvette has been when replacing the previous generation. The evolution of the automobile is a wonderful thing. Having grown up in the eighties, in what was one of the most depressing eras of performance motoring, I can’t wait.

It’s a mid-engined, flat planed Corvette. It’s also the 21st century. Sorry.

OK Gramps, time to take your meds and a nap before your checkers game with Mr. Johnson.

I wasn’t out there for this test, but I do work for Michelin, and have been around OEM testing like this before.

Yeah.  What’s not to like about that?

That noise sounds heavenly. Were those blue flames shooting out the back or just flashing lights?

If they did they either hired the wrong ones or shot them down when they said what needed to be done. TM being a new company would have never had proper engineering procedures to begin with. It’s difficult to create them when the attitude of management is ‘ship the shit’ and update later.

Come on down to Super MacGruber Cadillac-Chevrolet! We’re giving these CT6s away! Seriously! Come over, we will give you one. What do we have to do? Do you want us to duck your dick? We will suck your fucking dick to give you one of these CT6s. TAKE A CADILLAC CT6!!! PLEEEEEAAAAAASSSSEEEE!!!

You can’t get rid of proper engineering procedures if the old guys are still around. If you can’t get rid of proper engineering procedures you cannot have the self driving battery powered cars of tomorrow today because they simply cannot pass through long established engineering requirements with today’s technology.

From what I’ve taken away from talking to people who were closer to it, some of the selfish dog-eat-dog mentality in modern China is one of the big scars that the Cultural Revolution left on the culture. During that time, anyone could turn you in at any time, so it was everyone for themselves.

If the model works in China we’ll start seeing it in western ‘democracies’ soon enough. Already there is legislation in NY state proposing that in order to get a pistol permit one must submit three years of their internet browsing/search history and social media history. Slowly but surely we are progressing towards

I’m sure the Chinese will weaponize this against their already-targeted ethnic and religious minorities in due time, which means really fucking soon if not already.

This is up there with the East German Stasi, except technology has replaced your friends and neighbors ratting you out to the government.

I disagree. It’s inhumane, but it’s not inherently violent, genocidal or racist. Pol Pot’s Cambodia takes the cake for the worst Post-WWII decision in my mind. After that, North Korea and Stalin’s USSR. Even Mao’s China was a nightmare.

In concert with everything else China does? Yes. Pol Pot and Saddam Hussein were brought down with significantly less than world-war level costs. The only reason North Korea is still a thing is because China is holding it up (while saying they’re not). China is a nuclear superpower who will eventually export this

From what I’ve read - and it is terror food all around - your score impacts your associations. The system links you quite like FB does. Only I don’t think you can submit corrections.

I’m not sure if I completely understand this system — and I apologize if I’ve gotten this wrong — but I could have sworn that I read somewhere that a negative score wouldn’t just hurt you, an individual, but it would also adversely affect your family and friends as well.

I couldn’t watch the videos to listen so if someone could tell me if it sounds more like one of these options that would help immensely.
