I did read the whole thread. I'm just saying that Lynch is not the type of director who likes to talk about the production process, that's all.
He never liked to talk much about the production process of anything he made, and he's always been evasive about answering what things mean in his films. I actually like that a lot, and the man is a great storyteller and can be a great interview subject if the interviewer knows what to ask.
