Yes, because if Lynch is known for anything, it's for his intense commitment to narrative continuity.

Dougie's PRE-OWNED, SHITTY FORD got stolen. Well, exploded, but that's another story.

The gratuitous Trump reference really makes this comment.

Yeah, the novel doesn't offer the same kind of character relationships as Red Dragon & Co., and that's OK. And the show does very well with the "Coming to America" vignettes. But in its grander plot, it seems to be stumbling and repeating itself. This became evident when it introduced Vulcan - that was an exaggerated

It's the same thing that was in the cell, and it seems to be connected to Maj. Briggs' body somehow. It's also very similar to the hobo from behind Winkie's in Mulholland Drive. People did mention it further down the board.

I am not sure what anyone expected going into this show.

Lol, nobody watched Megyn Kelly interview Alex Jones.

It seemed so practical and cool, though! You want to keep that pesky monitor out of the way when you're doing paperwork!

I forgot to mention, for all you POI fans, that last night's Twin Peaks had not one but THREE Detectives Fusco.

The best part about the scene with that charred hobo in the hospital is how she turns a bit while she's talking on the phone and almost seems to acknowledge him before it turns out she can't see him at all. That's a wonderful bit of misdirection.

Jade is one of only two people so far to be genuinely concerned about Dougie. She's the fucking best.

Whenever Dougie's not on screen, all the other characters should ask "Where's Dougie?"

I dunno - Janey-E (who the fuck is even called that?) and Sonny Jim seem mighty strange to me. Naomi Watts is great because I think she nails perfectly the part where her role as a harried wife crosses over into parody and then veers into something a lot less clear (and possibly unsettling). Why doesn't she notice her

I guess we now know why she couldn't be in the show when it was on ABC.

Two things: I really hope Diane has always been like that, because Cooper having a foul-mouthed, world-weary vamp as his closest confidante retroactively makes the scene from S1 where he asks her to send over some ear plugs even funnier.

Speaking of technology: Cooper's been in the Black Lodge for 25 years, does he even know what an e-mail is? It's true we've never seen Dougie even as much as use a phone, but assuming Cooper ever wakes up in full, that's gonna be a rough adjustment for him.

Josie Packard has finally escaped her dresser knob prison? Probably not. I hope we don't really find out because that was a lovely little scene on its own.

Oh God, those paper bag people are the reason I still haven't rewatched Mulholland Drive. They make the Winkie's hobo look like Bambi.

I lol'ed at this.
