Look, I was trying to go easy on all other TV: after all, it's not all other TV's fault it can't feature the grouchy banter of David Lynch and Miguel Ferrer.
I really like that Twin Peaks apparently has an inexhaustible supply of Renaults at hand and that Gordon Cole has a framed photo of an ear of corn in his office.
It's definitely related (if not the same as), whatever lives next to the dumpster behind Winkie's in Mulholland Drive, aka, the fucking scariest scene ever committed to film.
Also, Cole's office, in addition to a photo of Kafka and one of a mushroom cloud, also has a framed photo of an ear of corn.
She was OK. I don't really see her appeal as an actress.
Maybe it's because Twin Peaks has rendered all other TV I watch secondary at best, but I think something is missing from American Gods that can't really be fixed. It's a great looking show, with some excellent performances and some great stand-alone stories. But there's no centre. Hannibal worked because all that…
OK, there was A LOT of plot on Twin Peaks tonight, but there was still time for a 2 minutes+ shot of a dude sweeping the floor of the Road House after hours.
It figures it was taken already :(
OK, centipede, then. Wasp, tick and spider are already taken, and I thought mosquito didn't seem too badass.

I'm really sorry. I hope it turns out to be something less serious, like a radioactive bee bite that's gonna give you superpowers, or something.
Lol, The Mummy got beat by All Eyez on Me, a movie that barely got promoted.
Did a doctor tell you you have shingles? Because you really shouldn't at your age.
Oh, you're going to enjoy Ep. 7, then. Salim is such a great character, and so well realized, considering the political and cultural minefield he could have dragged the show into.
I wasn't fond of the tone of that particular episode. I don't think Fuller can do satire well.
Update: I liked it, but also I didn't?
I think The Leftovers' subject matter is too depressing to turn it into a cult show. I can't even imagine what a Leftovers convention would look like? Lots of people dressing up as The Guilty Remnant?
I shall watch it within the hour!
