The season finale of American Gods is online for some reason, if anyone's interested.

What Gussie and Tere are saying. It's weird there are no live action shows with a cult following anymore. Maybe it's because TV has become both overabundant and generally predictable? Animation can afford to experiment more and go on various visual tangents, but a lot of the live action isn't really taking any chances

Slant Magazine is now begging for money on Patreon. God, this is depressing.

Twin Peaks.

I ended up skimming through a lot of JT's sections, so I don't know what to say. He seems like a way-too-conscious attempt to create a sort of half-Tarantino-esque, half-Lynchian bad-boy figure with a smattering of Borges thrown in for good measure. His sexual exploits and druggy lifestyle bored me.

I like that book a lot, even if the Johnny Truant parts are largely postmodern hipster pap. Reading it is a truly unique experience.

Just drifting, floating. Spitting in the wind. General waywardness.

Yeah, like "Shakespeare is for killing Trump."

I GET IT, YOU'RE YOUNG!

So I'm gonna see the Pet Shop Boys live in Brussels in August.

That man is not very smart. I'm amazed he can feed himself.

Isn't TV history mostly Ancient Aliens and shit?

History also involves reading.

So between thinking Julius Caesar endorses political assassination and promising to stage the play The Salem Witch Trials with Hillary getting burned at the stake, it's fair to say conservatives aren't very big on reading.

Buzzfeed has uncovered evidence of at least 14 people assassinated in England by Putin's men/ Russian mafia working for Putin, and it reads like the world's most depressing Jason Bourne movie: https://www.buzzfeed.com/he…

They probably will, when it will happen. I'm guessing they can't really talk about it now.

It is possible that Univision may soon switch both The AV Club and The Onion onto Kinja - the godawful publishing/ commenting platform that Gawker and its affiliates use and which Univision also owns.

REBECCA OHMYGOD.

This is A LOT better, trust me.
