A lot of high end vehicles have had electric doors. Some even open as you approach. Excessive? Yes.

That is surprising. The times I’ve been stuck on the side of the road it’s a 2 hour wait for the truck.

EVs, like ICEs , track actual range as you drive. Drive aggressive and you will get less miles. Drive slow and get more.

This would never have happened with a real car, worst case would be a recovery guy came out with a can of gas.

I have friends in CT that picked up an inventory model 3 RWD for about the same.

“Coming to the conclusion that we should be prudent in assisting the Chinese automakers and government as opposed to our own (or european or other asian) isn’t knee jerk.”

I have a feeling you just stirred up the “China bad!” folks who are going to swoop in and say how bad and unpopular Chinese cars are… despite China being the largest auto manufacturer on the planet.

That makes sense, however there appears to be very minimal damage. For example the panels are barely dented. Makes me curious what the conditions of the rollover were. Im assuming it was very slow.

The cybertruck looks like it’s in much better shape after a rollover than anything I’ve seen.

… yet another reason why direct sales make more sense. No one wants to be bothered with scams like that.

In my area there are a bunch of EVs that have been on CL for about a year that are way overpriced. My assumption is they were trying to flip them during COVID and were not successful.

Inventory model 3 RWDs are listed at $37k, before potential tax credits. That makes them sub $30k for some buyers, which is a lot of EV for sub-$30k.

You mean the spare change/trash holders?

To me it looks like a sedan cosplaying as a crossover.

While I appreciate the styling of the Polestar 2, the performance, range, cramped interior, and price are not competitive in todays market.

I think the exterior and interior look nicer, and the added range is always nice.

With the transition to EVs we may see a lot of models get rebranded.

I’ve always said the S is a ~$65k vehicle in my opinion. If ever hits that, I’ll be placing my order

$5-8k sounds a bit a steep unless you are having to upgrade the entire panel. I had a 50a outdoor outlet run from the opposite side of the house for $800, and that was the more expensive quotes I received.

Upgraded axels, suspension, and a motor from an Explorer doesn’t seem worth twice the price of a regular Bronco, but props to Ford for making it happen.
