Only possible take on this.

No, both times I was watching via cable on the TV on the HD channel. Not sure if it’s possible, but there seemed to be quite a difference.

We’ve watched again after Veep on the same TV and the quality was much, much better! Did anyone else experienced that?

This intrigues me so much? Have you come across any good reporting on the subject? I was vaguely aware about hers and Myanmar story and was truly sruprised to see she was still in charge of the country (or at least is presented as such by news) when I began reading on the Rohingya situation

Never got into it either! I’ve seen the 94 movie but have not read the book. But I’ve just listened to a great podcast about Louisa May Alcott and she led such an interesting life that I almost want to give it a try.

Edit: kinja took my comment and then gave it back.

Can’t wait to get my hands on the book. Meanwhile, I’ve been listening to Casefile 5 part podcast. Disclaimer: I love listening/reading on all things true crime/serial killers/mysterious stuff/cults and etc and it generally doesn’t affect me, but this one is getting to me. He recounts each and every EAR attack and I

I remember being into some Lex/Chloe fanfiction for a couple of months back in the Smallville days, so these Allison Mack 2nd in command in a cult news have been really creeping me out.

I felt a weird but very strong mixture of rage and second-hand embarrassment, (and I’m not even American!)

Thanks! I was trying to remember whether I heard it or read it!

And it gets better!

That is a really good point. I think people might be expecting her to ‘finish’ him, etc but she set the bar with the first debate so the second was hers to maintain and for Trump to outperform. That he is in the the middle of a scandal and there’s still a third debate are all very good reasons to “just” try and keep

I agree it’s a fine line, but isn’t it also easier with the town hall format? You focus on the question and in engaging the voter/voters. Is obliviously risky as you can’t predict you’re still going to win, but as the VP debate showed it seems like they might take the risk.. A GOP between a rock and a hard place (his

I’m reading some post debates comments (and CNN on the background when there are no Trump supporters speaking) and something caught my attention when someone said that even though she had the opportunity to finish him off tonight it might have been a campaign strategy not to: ‘if he blows himself off, ok’ but if not

The GOP convention is driving me insane because for a second there I read Paul Ryan and was very, very confused and disturbed.

I quite literally just said this to a colleague. I wonder how was he felling when it dawned on him that his biography will summed up as being the guy who gambled the future of his country (and a large portion of the world) just for what ended up being one more year in power...

I’m not getting excited about this, I’m not getting excited about this... Goddammit!! It’s wizards and it’s the 20's and it’s Colin Farrell and it looks so so pretty and so so fun!

YES IT DOES!

And whyyy replace something that didn’t need replacing? Bo-hoo!
