Helium is also a great backup for rooted phones and it's made by the guys who made ClockWorkRecovery mod. It' super easy to use.

Definitely. You should ONLY restore apps you download, never system data. I did that once, I forget if I had to do another factory reset or flash the build to my phone. Either way it wasn't fun.
+1 one Ti backup. Just be very careful on what you restore when changing versions of android.
Its a full reinstall, so backup first.
Installing a ROM is basically like factory resetting your phone. So yes, you will have to reinstall apps as well as re-login to your Google account. I strongly recommend using Titanium Backup Pro to backup your apps. I think you can still do it with the free version but the paid one is definitely worth the $7 for the…
Yes, it's like reinstalling the OS from scratch. It completely replaces the stock version of Android that is there.
If you root prior to flashing a new rom (usually a prerequisite anyway) you can install Titanium Backup or a similar program and easily back up your apps/app data prior to wiping it all out. Your files should stay intact on the internal storage, but best to make a back up first, regardless. Once the new rom is…
Two things:
Oh, we're gonna. Just wait and see!
Ah, missed that. *Sigh* Back to the drawing board with two weeks to go.
Just MERE days/weeks before Google Reader goes dark... lifehacker should do another poll of viable alternatives before this happens!

It's north of NYC...therefore, it IS upstate. End of discussion.
I shave my head so I often have to go with 3 blade razors. I have to be careful what I get because if the blades are placed too close together it clogs with hair and if they are too far apart I'm more likely to get cut.
I use Calibre for my collection of digital comics. Since that collection overlaps 100% with my collection of print comics, I don't have any need for another database, although I do have GCStar installed. I liked it for games and it will do comics, but I don't know if it meets your definition of easy.
I should work on my online communication. No, I meant all good things.
Perfect viewer, free and functional, exactly what it says on the tin
Absolutely. Do any of the apps mentioned have PV's configurable tap zones and gestures, the "no UI" UI? PV's menus and bookshelf may look a little dated, but until you're ready to switch series, you never have to see them, and functionally PV's bookshelf is identical to the competition.
I've tried others and keep uninstalling them and sticking with Perfect Viewer.
