CBR and CBZ are legally available from some creators, including the great Thrillbent.com

I've pointed out a couple of places to get legal CBZs from earlier. Here is some more.

Feature packed indeed. The best Android comic viewer no doubt.

Many artists, or artist/writer teams, are selling .cbz(r)s of theire comics, and there are sites that sell them the same way. Legally.

iTunes is great for listening to ILLEGAL files!

amen Perfect viewer is ideal, simple intuitive and powerful

There are a few places that have started selling CBR/CBZ files legally. BKV and Marcos Martin's Private Eye made a big splash a couple months ago. You can also get hunders of pages of Cerebus (including an archive of everything Sim could throw in) for $0.99/issue. Tons of little guys sell downloadable files on

Ditto on all counts.

As a vegan for over 11 years I fully support this post. Having not eating meat or dairy products I get extremely sick if my food is cooked in the same pan.

Yeah, I debated that line, but left it in because I think that's the common perception. I'm not sure I completely agree with it, but it's out there.

After reading your article, I think I disagree with your premise. While I believe restaurants (and service industries in general) should try to accommodate customers, I don't this should happen at the expense of losing identity.

For strict vegans, always ask to make sure your meal won't contain any fish sauce or stock.

Your chef is confused, and that's dangerous to me as a vegetarian. I am not a strict vegan. I eat dairy. But when the chef says something is vegetarian, that darn well better mean there is no animal broth or fish sauce or lard. That's what vegetarian means.

Right now, Feedly plugs into Google Reader. On July 1 or thereabouts, they'll switch to their own back end, which they've promised will be seamless if you already have your Google Reader account connected.

Feedly started out as a tool that syncs with gReader. Before gReader goes away, however, Feedly is going to transition to using its own back end. So, it will stand on its own as an RSS reader and you'll be able to fully replace gReader with it. The transition is supposed to be seamless, so if you start using Feedly

If you report your landlord/owner... you will become evicted. Laws are only enforced when it's "convenient".

This horrible human obsession with killing things instead of learning to live in harmony with them is what has led to climate change and homophobia as well as oppression of women.

I second that. Growing up in the deep south grits were commonly used. My father once told me they cause the ants stomachs to explode when they expand in their bodies.

A kinder thing to do — so you don't kill them or torture them is to:

The best way to get rid of fire ants is gasoline and a match. Tell your landlord that.
