I figure exactly what happened is why they have those ejector seat launches out of the cockpit IRL, so that it purposely doesn’t let momentum carry the debris right into the pilot’s path as it happened there.

I wonder if anyone who truly loves sports really cares about this game. I know I don’t, and I love sports.

Most of the sports games are. I feel like that was a terrible idea on professional sporting’s end, to negotiate exclusivity among the license-buying market, or near-exclusivity in many sports ... you make way more money selling to everyone than just an EA or a 2k or a whichever sports gaming company. But that’s

Yeah if he wasn’t feeling it, that’s his opinion.

I guess I’ve seen a lot of stuff get dragged through the mud in later years for ideas that I enjoyed back in the day to where I’m immune to another round of it.

I will forever love Conker’s Bad Fur Day. Such a base humor game that hit references with abandon ... so afraid to go back to it to be dismayed at shitty controls (all the n64 games get on my nerves on the console, especially Goldeneye).

Yeah, until just now I had no idea ... I definitely didn’t know that much about Konami (and the likely reasons for their mass exit from big budget gaming).

Yeah, I had no idea how crazy Japan is for Pachinko, but I think that if they get that casino stuff going, it’s going to get crazy for all sorts of paycheck-emptying stuff.

After looking at the founder and how he got his start, it kinda makes sense from his POV ... gambool & phones are such low-rent programming compared to the AAA gaming front, plus the one thing they seem to be invested in is their soccer game, which probably is like Madden, just update the rosters on existing code, add

That’s true, they could ... actually looked up some info, and it seems like they’re toying with that idea, which I wasn’t aware of. Plus I saw they’re selling their old games on arcade collections, so yeah, probably after I looked at it, not gonna happen.

Unless they’re planning on endless runners with their old IP as the generic runner or whatever ... if they’re seriously moving to all handheld gaming on iPhones and Android ... they really don’t need those titles anymore. To boost profit, they might as well sell the old IP to anyone who is interested.

It looked like the diver passed through the prop plane’s cords ... guess there isn’t collision detection for the cords ... still awesome though!

It probably wasn’t just Nintendo that put arcades at a disadvantage. Sega & Nintendo started getting more powerful hardware out there, and the games they’d develop would rival the fun had by arcade-based titles in everything but graphics.

That’s what I do ... I’m not very much into the anime, comics, & cosplay subjects. I tend to skip those.

There were two SNES baseball games which I played a ton of ...

Yeah, EA still does a great job with the NHL series. They were must-plays for a Detroit-based teen like myself, along with Madden, during the 90s.

I enjoyed making all-women teams to dominate the rest of the league!

Did you ever purchase yourself an entire team of Bill Laimbeers? I really loved Combat Basketball. We probably won’t ever have a villain like Bill again in the NBA, either.

I definitely missed it the first time. So thanks!

Sad Keanu is sad, even with all them lovely cats.
