Considering this is so common, I have very rarely heard this talked about. My giant fibroid almost killed me twice about 5 years ago, and only after those 2 weeks of hell did all the ladies in my immediate family pipe up to say they have them too!

That is legit the WORST mistake you can make when baking biscuits. Ice cold butter is CRUCIAL. Pro tip: freeze the butter, then grate it into the flour.
