It’s my understanding that groups filed lawsuits yesterday, even before the results were announced, to show that this isn’t (nor should it be) a partisan concern and that the safety and well-being of all voters is what matters.

I found out yesterday that I ruptured the tendon to my thumb this weekend and will need surgery. I have absolutely no idea when that might take place. I think the most optimistic estimate is late April, but I somehow doubt that will happen. All I know now is that I’m on the surgery list and will just have to wait for…
There are. I own this combo thing, which I only use for waffles. I love it.
I very much approve of your choice to stop at Carr Valley to get some cheese to take home. I may or may not know the delivery schedule for fresh curds at the shop closest to my house.
My FSA is similar. I have a debit card and use it for the doctor, medications, dentist, etc. There are certain providers, such as my dentist or the company providing my husband’s insulin pump supplies, where I know that I will need documentation. After one or two runs through the process, I know what exactly I need…
Ugh, I’m sorry. I only ended up getting surgery scheduled after my endo got to the point where I had continuous back pain from the massive ovarian cysts (found via ultrasound) the endo caused. It does suck that it has to take an extreme amount of pain and loss of quality of life before something can be done about…
Thank you for mentioning this. And I’m so sorry surgery gave you no relief. I only finally got some relief after a full hysterectomy and, even after that, still have occasional issues.
Thankfully it's over and in the 40s right now. I took one of my own dogs for a walk today and it was great to be out and not freeze!
That kitchen looks fantastic! My husband also turned 45 on Tuesday. Sadly, we did not get a rocking new kitchen out of that deal. He did get a new computer, but that was because the old desktop died unexpectedly, so that was not really money we planned on spending right now.
I’m so very sorry. I know endo pain well and have had a full hysterectomy and have still somehow had an adhesion that caused spotting withing the past year.
That does make sense. Unfortunately for me, endometriosis ended up out of control and I had a hysterectomy at 30, so that officially ended the journey.
I don't remember having any testing in the lab or clinic done before starting Clomid. I did some OTC ovulation testing and that noted that I was ovulating.
Oh I know that feeling all too well. Infertility treatment is also not covered by my insurance plan, which is part of the reason why I waited so damn long to go back to my gynecologist about all of the problems I had before that first surgery. I didn’t want to get billed for more IF treatments when I’d basically…
If only the cost of other diagnostics (for women anyway) weren’t so invasive. I did a couple of months of Clomid before I stopped because I felt so lousy taking it. It wasn’t until about a year later when I finally got my first surgery for endometriosis that we discovered one tube was completely destroyed already…
Ha, that's adorable! In the morning, mine know my husband is not usually the one who takes care of their morning routine. On the days he gets up before me, the dogs will either not move (if they are already on the bed) or jump up to take his spot right away and spend some more time snuggling. I tend not to mind that,…
I can sympathize with both of you. Some nights I absolutely love having the dogs on the bed. Others, like when they've shovede to the edge and my back hurts from being stuck in an uncomfortable position, they need to go find their own massive dog beds on the floor.
My boys would never leave if I had a heating pad on for them. We have an electric mattress pad on the bed and they insist on helping warm up the bed before we get in...and while we're in there. It wouldn't be a problem if all three weren't about 50 lbs.
Good luck finding homes for all of those baking chips!
It’s one of my favorite combos, too. These brownies are basically brownies with a layer of peppermint patties on top.
Im so sorry your pup is not doing well. I hope she responds to treatment.
