Yep, chocolate chips. And I bake them at a lower temp so they get nice and chewy inside.

I can report that it’s delicious! You should definitely try it sometime!
This new one is so much smaller. We reduced the number of baking sheets and just things in general in that drawer to make space with the new range. Even with doing that, the new set of stacking cooling racks we bought today won’t fit in there.
I do love their ovens with the proofing drawers! Technically, the storage drawer at the bottom of my oven is also a warming drawer, but I wouldn’t be able to proof anything in there. It’s way too narrow.
Oh man, not likely! I’d crumble under the pressure in that kind of setting ;)
It turned out well! I had the chunky version sitting around, but I haven’t really noticed it in the bites I’ve had. My husband said it’s a bit sweeter than the usual kind, but that it’s still good.
So freaking cute!
That’s adorable!
I’ll probably end up seeing this, even though part of me will quietly seethe at the lack of feathers on those prehistoric birbs.
I’m so sorry to hear that it’s still rough. I’m glad you do have something like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend to help and I hope you have other things to help and people to support you while you try to get better. It’s a tough road.
You too on the rough time earlier this year, huh? That was this spring and summer for me and a rewatch of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has been very welcome, though some of the newer stuff especially was tough to watch, mostly because of how well the material is handled.
I’m glad Terry Crews continues fighting to be heard and that others are supporting him. I wish there were more support for him, though, as this is definitely a side of #metoo that needs to be heard.
Good luck with your surgery.
I know that’s the truth I chose to believe. Also, those videos were my first introduction to Dodger and I am a fan. He has a fantastic singing voice and I made my husband watch with me.
Just dinner rolls made with honey and with honey butter brushed on top. This is the recipe I’ve been using for a few years now and they go over very well: https://www.averiecooks.com/2012/11/honey-dinner-rolls.html
I’m saving that recipe for when I have a working oven again. Thank you!
Thank you for the encouragement! Perhaps I’ll finally give socks a chance after I finish this blanket. Socks sound like a nice holiday project!
I know, right? The oven couldn’t have picked a better time to do this. It still kind of works, but it takes a few tries before it actually lights. The stove still works okay, so dinners I make this week will only require the stove. I’m a bit disappointed because I’d hoped to make some scones this weekend, but better…
