Netflix is stupid for this stunt. First of all, there is still a Netflix app on Apple TV. So Apple users can just download the app and sign in, but I imagine this is just in scenarios where the user is not mirroring on their own TV. And this extra step only makes Netflix look inadequate for the hassle, not Apple.
