I was called for jury duty recently. When I answered the question if I knew anybody in law enforcement, I pointed out that my former father-in-law was a volunteer sheriff and my girlfriend’s ex-husband was a police officer. Everyone presumably thought that was a positive association. I literally had to explain that

Fuck all IPOs that don’t produce a material good.

Are you suggesting that guns are addictive and can ruin the user’s life or kill the user?

Lol, ok. Is that you, Elliot?

It’s not an interview. If you’re thinking about stealing a post, don’t. Ask for permisssion, credit the person, or, I dunno, repost. It’s simple etiquette.

Most of the time, I read those memes as Me wishing this was me...

This is why I don’t follow meme pages, the lack of integrity. Ugh.

Exactly.

I watch CBS This Morning while I get ready for work and recall the report that pilots in the Ethiopian flight that crashed received less than one hour or training on the Boeing Max 8 on an iPad. Like seriously, what the fuck?

I’m a little disappointed that the article didn’t provide a sample of Holmes’ real voice on the rare occasions she broke character. Seems like footage of her slip ups is hard to come by. Her real voice, although I am no expert, is far more pleasant than her bro dude voice.

I don’t disagree with you. It’s just hard to make the point of antitrust when the company you are attacking has about 1/3 of the market.

Hard truth: Google users on average are cheap(er). And don’t pay as often for apps. Or music. As much as Apple users anyway. I can’t recall the statistic, but although iOS users are far less than Android users, in devices and apps downloaded, Apple’s App Store revenue has been consistently nearly double that of the

BOOM. I think this is the point everyone is missing.

Let me pose a question that I think causes Spotify’s antitrust logic to crumble. I am going to assume that Apple/iOS/MacOS is not the *majority of devices in the market. Im not understanding how Apple can be accused of leveraging so much power when they operate only a fraction of the market.

I’ve only considered using this on occasion, but it’s remarkable how many people and what price they are willing to pay for convenience. Amazon Prime. Taskrabbit. Ease. Grocery store pickup. We are such a instant gratification by someone else society now.

It’s also a cash grab for a few of these startups- specifically build up the valuation while skirting or breaking laws along the way and then settling for pennies on the dollar if the time comes when the lawsuits pile up. This is the uber playbook.

The no noise isolation is the clincher.

Unpopular opinion: Weighing all of the pros and cons, Apple AirPods are the best overall all-purpose truly wireless headphones.

The fact the Trump has not condemned the act speaks volumes.

This is the first season I’ve watched of The Bachelor ever, with my new girlfriend (I am a man).
