Unions don’t limit your salary upwards, they only limit the minimum based on standards and living wages.. Management always wants to pay as little as possible while demanding the most skill/time/experience possible.. What a union typically does is negotiate and demand higher salaries as minimums based on that…

Most people in Hollywood are both.. just to varying degrees.. A fair amount are self-aware enough to keep it under wraps (again, to varying degrees of success)... others don’t bother because they think they are above reproach and and let their insanity flag fly so the world knows just how damaged they are.
