I use Secret Clinical. Until that came out, I had to use 72-Hour deodorant at night, then two-ply it with Ban roll-on and Mitchum solid. It is really nice to only use one deodorant now.

That’s so true. I get catcalled a lot more when I’m just going about my life than when I’m dressed to the nines and feeling very “I am woman hear me roar”. It’s like they know when it will annoy you the most and you won’t have time to do anything more than flip them the bird.
Showing ankle were you? Tsk, tsk.
Right? I am pretty average and I get cat called and/or leered at regularly, most often in sweats/leggings/micro step up from pajamas. I can’t think of anything less sexual than me walking my dog with a literal bag full of shit in my hands, but apparently I need to reassess my sartorial choices.
I remember when I had to inform a young 20-ish woman that the reason she felt so shamed was because our professor had just sexually harassed her in front of the entire class. Since it was a science class it was predominantly, you guessed it, male. And most of them laughed while it was going on.
Can Donna explain to me why I get leered at with no makeup, in leggings, Birkenstocks, and an oversized sweatshirt?oh that’s right, it’s because harassment is not about sex, it’s about entitlement and power.
What are we teaching our children? How about we teach them that if you sexually harass women you should get the fuck out of your job?
Today I was taking out the garbage in a baggy t and loose pedal pushers.. in the 2 mins it took me to do it I got cat called twice. Some of us don’t ask or advertise anything and assholes still insist we are.
Yep. Every single person I have met who has had any involvement with her (usually by way of editorials and fashion week) has said she is a horrid person and even being in the same room as her is painful.
Not just her models, I’ve seen Donna herself in a v-neck that must have ended at her navel a few years ago. Would she like it if she’d been assaulted then told she was asking for it because of her clothes?
This, so much this. There’s so much shit in that comment, so many layers of wrong, that it’s difficult to know where to start. The condescension towards women in developing countries (and she probably thinks Africa is a country) is especially gross.
Wow. That’s disgusting. Thankfully other designers make beautiful wrap dresses so I don’t have to worry about giving up a favorite designer.
Male coworkers have rubbed my shoulders, called me their “office wife”, stuck a hand into the waistband of my skirt under the guise of “tucking a tag in”, told me to shake my tits at someone, asked me to turn around so they could look at me, took aluminum foil from a sandwich, shaped into a penis and left it on my…
To that last point: MIL is a republican and told wife n I about how she wasn’t harassed back in the day and women are too sensitive nowadays (in the wake of Ailes scandal, this discussion).

You know what you call a woman harassed at work who didn’t report it? EMPLOYED.
Damned trog on Twitter wrote that these women coming forward now are lying and disgusting because they didn’t come forward earlier. Cannot even see the irony in his comment.
As someone who is constantly being harassed at her work I wish men at my workplace would just implode.
