What’s with the Ohio hate? I moved here from NY and it’s actually pretty nice, at least in Columbus. I wouldn’t recommend living in the other parts, but Cleveland and Cincy have some redeeming qualities worth visiting for.

It appears from the 6500 employees that only 3551 voted. So in theory, there could have been plenty of folks who wanted it, but were intimidated by the threats and didn’t want their name associated to the yes votes. Not saying that’s for sure, but it’s also not 100% clear that it was rejected by a 2:1 margin.

This. Even the Amazon warehouses here have trouble. They air ads all the time, pay starting bonuses, and have walk-in interviews, and still are always hiring.

And who knows if the 6500 number includes management or not, which also wouldn’t be eligible.

Used Chevy Sparks would fit the bill. I’ve seen 2014s in great shape with low miles listed for $8000 and they have way more torque and a normal top speed.

Hellcat chassis isn’t in the same league as the CTS-V. If you just want raw horsepower, sure, the hellcat is for you. If you want handling and refinement with your horsepower, the CTS-V is a much better option.

The first and second gen that were in-between did sell well. It’s the third gen that got upsized that hasn’t sold at all.

ATS-V MSRP is $61,690 so $15k off, even with some options added would be much lower than $65k.

This isn’t the first electric truck, not even close. Via Motors and Workhorse currently sell a electric truck with a range extender. Ford and Chevrolet both have sold electric trucks in the past, the Ranger EV and the S-10EV.

Roadtrips are not an edge case. Many people drive long distances regularly. Last month I did 700mi in one day and 1000mi in two. No fuel stops for the first, and only 1 stop on the second.

I think the police must have some kind of agreement with the property owner before they can enforce traffic laws on the private property in question.

That’s illegal in many states. Hell, even Tesla still can’t sell in 6 states.

Love my first gen CTS-V for this very reason!

First gen CTS-V is the answer then... Close to the fun of a Corvette with the practicality of a normal 4 door car. Even has the C5's LS6 engine.

They’re doing a plug-in hybrid of it too. Crazy to think it might be dead soon.

And we have stupid Johan de Nysschen to blame for this idiocy; first Infiniti, now Cadillac. I wonder how much longer GMs board is going to keep him around with sales numbers like these.

This doesn’t surprise me. The new CTS has not done anywhere near as well as the prior one, imo largely due to price. Not sure how they thought a more expensive sedan would do better when their current largest sedan was languishing.

The CTS isn’t selling like it used to since they upsized it too. The 2nd gen CTS sold a ton, but you rarely see the 3rd gen on the roads. Their attempt to split their product offerings and upsize the CTS/add the smaller ATS seems to have failed. Their pricing isn’t helping things, they were always a better value than

Volt battery will last 300k miles too. Already been done. GM was very conservative and only allows daily use of about 60% of the battery, plus liquid cooled it (unlike the Leaf which has had temperature based degradation and warranty replacements). Roughly the lower and upper 20% are blocked out from use to ensure

Wait, that fucker is front wheel drive? Wow. TIL.
