“Dr. Johnson found that as the speed of an individual vehicle deviates from the mean traffic speed on a roadway, the number of interactions between vehicles increases and the potential for being involved in accidents increases. The frequency of interactions with other vehicles by a vehicle traveling 10-mph below the

That’s horrifying!

Eh, GM called one of the recalls for my car “vehicle hesitation or stall”. In reality, a pin in the connector at the fuel pump could overheat/melt and cause a fuel leak. That doesn’t sound like a fire hazard...

Some local PDs here have the Caprice. Not a ton, state has gone for chargers and tahoes, a lot of sherrifs and big cities have gone for the explorer.

Or the shifter position switch/sensor goes out and throws the trans into reverse or park on the interstate?

I would actually expect things to go the opposite way - if they want to win on volume and be more competitive on price, they’ll probably decontent and/or cheapen the mainstream trim levels. Premium features will probably still be available but I would bet they’ll move to higher trim levels or option/option packages.

Hide yo kids, hide yo wife...

That’s interstate travel. Intrastate is 18 for non hazmat.

Takata should just changing the labeling on their product from Airbag to Claymore. “Front toward enemy"

I was expecting this

The NYPD did this to the guy who filmed Eric Garner’s death as well. Followed him until they found a “reason” to arrest him.

Philadelphia can boot and tow for unpaid fines. The PPA has vast authority to fuck with your life/car until they collect. I too avoid shithole cities like Philly for a damn good reason.

I still remember an episode where they towed a car and wouldn’t release it over “expired” insurance. The insurance card said “Valid for six months starting from xx/xx/xxxx date. It was less than 6 months after that date.

You da real MVP

I only saw it on the CTS-V Facebook group, never would have known otherwise. They didn’t promote it well and it was a short promo.

Yeah, it was existing inventory. There was two in my town at different dealers and plenty in the state. There was a thread on the SS forums where an employee was posting inventory numbers. I was very tempted. A couple of the dealers even threw another 5% off out of their pocket.

This myth that new cars are harder to work on is BS IMO. Suspensions are still suspensions. Brakes are still brakes. Sure, there’s more electrical components but hell, most of the time when anything goes wrong in the powertrain, the PCM tells you what’s wrong. A quick google search of the code and make/model and you

The SS was just on sale last month for 20-25% off, making them around $37k. I was seriously considering selling the 4 cars I own and buying a SS, but couldn’t convince myself of spending that much money.

Grow your legs 6" longer, go fly, then let’s talk. It’s extremely uncomfortable. I’m pretty much just wiggling and writhing around the entire flight trying to find a position where only a couple body parts hurt at the same time. I can’t use the tray tables, they hit my legs/knees halfway down and sit at a 45* angle.

At 6'6", I need to figure out how to cash in on this. No way it’s happening now, pretty sure I’m 2nd lowest in my department.
