I’m glad my state didn’t. Especially for aftermarket parts, CARB is just an additional tax with no benefit. They charge tens of thousands of dollars to “certify” a plastic tube with a filter on the end of it. In reality, all they are doing is being a troll under the bridge holding sales hostage in states that have

Couldn’t you just lock the door? Or does that not disable the sensor?

This looks nicer to me than the Continental, and it’s a freakin Toyota (Avalon). And that’s coming from someone who has never liked a single Toyota I’ve driven.

Wow, a Lincoln I wouldn’t hate seeing on the roads! Naturally, Ford didn’t actually produce it.

Corvette has emergency releases in the interior though. I wonder if this will have that. No handles + the olds (likely buyers) seems like a bad combo. There was an old guy who died in a Corvette last year because he couldn’t figure how to get out.

Agreed. That’s between ATS-V to CTS-V pricing, which I would take either over this any day. Good lord. Guess we’ll see if the olds buy it.

Or, you know, buy neither. As far as I’m concerned both deserve to die. Lincoln because they are beige Ford clones with a higher pricetag. Buick because they are snoozefest cars for old people. They’ve been airing those “it doesn’t look like a Buick” ads in the US for how many years now? I rarely see folks driving the

The rear lights kill it for me. I like the ones on the blue photoshop better.

I did! But I got it so cheap, they probably lost money on it. So I didn’t really help lol.

Less bombshell, more no shit sherlock. Top Gear is a comedy show about cars. Of course they did fake things to make them funny. No different than other late night TV, except that the skits in Top Gear are about cars.

At least you get that much. Mine munches all 3.5 gallons in 150 miles, putting me on .5gal reserve.

In my early 20s, I would do 500 miles at a time without stopping. I mostly stopped because my car only had a 550 mile range, but a bathroom break was good. I knew how to manage my body, ate light spread out all day, sipped a full throttle. Would get back in and do the next 500 miles until I reached my destination. Did

I hope they get away from the beak design soon. I just can’t imagine being seen driving that. I loved the old TL, original TSX, RSX, etc.

Rear cross traffic alert is just a warning when you are backing up and a car approaches from left or right. It’s on the current Cruze as well. Handy when you are backing out of a spot blind due to SUVs/trucks on either side obstructing your view.

Captain pedantic says: Oil weight varies, but it averages around 7.26lb per gallon. 5 qt is 1.25 gal, so more like 9lbs, not 17lbs.

Have to say I like the spy shot one better. The prototype one was a bit fugly.

Depends on what you’re using them for, the capacity, and the load. The old one powering my desktop? Sure it lasts 10-15 minutes max. One powering my DVR lasts around an hour.

In what world is a Tahoe comparable to a crossover? It’s still body on frame iirc. Also, I believe there was a huge price penalty for taking the hybrid. Something like $34k base price vs $50k for the hybrid.

Gas prices aren’t helping that, everyone is buying crossovers, SUVs, and pickup trucks. I bought a fuel efficient new dd in 2014, expecting gas to be above $3 a gallon (my breakeven point vs driving my prior dd). With the current prices, I could have delayed that purchase a few years, and have been putting miles on
