Yep, my wife works in the auto finance backoffice for a large regional bank and their most financed vehicle in 2014 was the Silverado/Sierra.

400hp? Big whoop. Cadillac offered that in the CTS in 2004.
That’s sad. I get 21mpg in my 2005 CTS-V lol
And in 3-5 years Hyundai gets sued by owners/EPA, Hyundai restates the MPG rating down to actual, they pay a fine and all owners get a check for $157.62 and a bag of Skittles. Just like last time.
I’ll be back in 3 weeks honey, gotta stop 117 times to charge on the way home.
Exactly(although its actually 34/38 for the smart). A fiesta gets 31/43 and weighs almost 600lb more. A freakin Chevy Cruze eco gets 29/42 and it weighs over 1000lb more.
You need a different bank then. Mine is open 7am-7pm in the summer, 6pm close in the winter.
Either going from a small standard filter to a larger high-flow filter or the higher intake air temps resulting in less dense air, which would require less gas. I would guess the latter as I saw the same thing on a second car when I took out the plate that blocked hot engine bay air from entering the intake. Crazy…
If nothing else, I got 2 mpg better consistently after putting a short ram on my beater. I agree tavarish if wrong on this one.
I thought that too, what is this a prototype Eagle? lol
Straw one deserves it. I worked with some commie managers who said we couldn’t give out butter with bread. But guess what, I did anyway because it beats pissing off the customer or trying to explain that no, I didn’t forget the butter, I work for bastards who say you can’t have it if you don’t ask.
Just curious, have you looked at them lately? In my opinion they are much better than old GM. I’ve had some old GM products and details like interior quality, squeaks, rattles, gaps, etc were shitty. And plenty of poorly designed parts that failed for no reason.
CTS’s had this problem too, they were never recalled but GM applied a “special coverage” that if the problem popped up, they would cover it up to a certain date/mileage. And yes, mine did have this problem right as I was buying it! lol.
I read it wrong, I thought you said you lusted over a Grand Prix with a V8. My bad.
4th gear: Yes. I still see that body style Grand Prix and Regal on the roads near me daily. I also have one I dd in the snow.
Yeah, not hard with two laptops. Most average sized laptops take 65w each, or 130w for two, plus some power consumption used by the inverter. 10A*12v = 120 watts available.

That body style had an option for a V8. I believe the GXP trim level had a 5.3l V8 under the hood. Unfortunately it was still front wheel drive...
Send Doug over there, he’s a hummer offroading expert now!
I actually agree for the most part, but hate the F50 a little less than you. By itself is it so bad? I think no. When you compare it to the F40? Yeah, they could have done a lot better.
