Wow. Very different experiences. With 95k miles, I’m still on the first gen diff, so no burnouts or wheelspin allowed. Even with that, I can go WOT from a dig/roll in 1st (clutch fully engaged) and never lose traction on 255/45s. Occasionally I ring it out to 6k then shift to 2nd, but more often than not I shift a

Guess my family has had bad luck with seat sensors then. Both my CTS-V and my mom’s Odyssey had to get theirs replaced. Fortunately mine was free because there was a “special coverage” added to the vehicle by GM. “Special Coverage” is more than a TSB, but less than recall.

Couldn’t have said it better! Bravo!

No, this is how you fix your airbag light. Right over the indicator light.

And can’t access the interstate.

I have an app on my phone that lets me do this for my Chevy Cruze. It’s not unique to FCA/uConnect.

The year. I’m pretty sure the amount I’d save on gas would be close to a year’s worth of working. Retire a year earlier!

V1 owner here - why do you say it’s ridiculous and pointless power around town? I use mine to its full extent often. Not in snow, but in normal conditions...

Obviously not. There’s way too many stupid people out there who would never consider doing this even when directly told the advantages.

What the heck is wrong with baked spaghetti? I ordered that once and it was decently good.

If it was used, she may be correct. Only 6 states have used lemon laws.

Lol. Don’t know what planet I was on when I read your comment. Doh!

AC load is minimal? I would have to disagree. Maybe on large displacement motors, but on the tiny turbo’ed motors of today, it’s quite noticeable.

Yep - this is always the case unless there are some insane rebates or the vehicle doesn’t depreciate. I ended up getting a brown manual cruze new for less than my friends paid for 2 & 3 year old cruzes. Same trim levels. My final price was 26% off sticker. Doubt I’ll ever get a deal that good again.

Make a sweep of the car when I first got it, found some stuff including an entire economics textbook.

84+ month loans and low interest rates.

Eyesight failed spectacularly.

Partially, yes. You can still use this step while the tailgate is down. You can’t with the middle thing you mentioned.

Good question. GM actually found the problem and changed the pin material midyear of the final year they manufactured the CTS-V (2007) but they didn’t recall it until now. They also recalled all trim levels of the cts except the V in 2010 for corrosion brake line failure, but didn’t recall the V trim until 2015. Same

Paid per job (per the book’s listed repair time), not per hour. This is common for automotive techs. The fast ones can be paid for more than 8 hours of billable time while only working 8 hours or less.
