Funny, after seeing both the ATS and the A3, I really liked the ATS interior better. I want to like the A3, but the interior just looks really bare to me. Lots of boring, hard plastic. It looks downmarket from my gf’s base civic.
Are they going to fix the interior? I really want to like the A3/S3, but the interior is crap. Hyundai, Ford, Chevy, Honda, etc all have nicer interiors in their economy cars. Hell, I rented a Cruze that was nicer inside!
I’ve not seen them side to side, but having seen a few driving around and sitting in one at the annual car show, I’d say the new ones are a bit bigger than the old ones. Still smaller than a full size, but not tiny, especially if you get the extended cab or extended bed.
Ford dealer nearby forged the title and odometer statement when they sold my parents my first car (10 year old Taurus). They were the original dealer, were the only dealer that had sold it used, and performed all the work on it. They had replaced the odometer two years earlier, but instead of being honest, they forged…
Hmm. I've had a W Body for 9 years with only minor issues. Only thing not working right now is the AC compressor. System is still pressurized, so with a new compressor I'd be back in business. Transmission is crap, but I knew that going in and car was priced accordingly.
True, I’m just pointing out they seem to be failing at their youth sales goal for the brand when they can’t even beat their Japanese competitor’s mainstream brand.
Agreed. This is why I love my supercharged car far more than any other I’ve had. I own a dd with a small turbo and it’s just not as fun. No matter the turbo, they all have some level of lag that makes the experience less fun. With a supercharger, I get to enjoy power thru the entire rev range immediately, versus…
Oh, I agree completely... but nothing is stopping Toyota from selling interesting cars with a Toyota badge on them. That’s their own choices and doing.
What a bunch of morons. Terrible cars too. Just give up and slap Toyota badges on these faux-Toyotas.
Just about as good looking as an Aztek too... I think I would take the Aztek’s rear over the Scion, weird glass and all.
It looks like a drunk designer just blended the Rav 4 and Mitsubishi Outlander rear on this car. Simply awful.
The front looks straight Corolla to me.
Crept up? Scion’s average buyer is 49 years old for god’s sakes. Hell, Honda’s average buyer is 45 and that’s not even a “youth” brand.
Looks like a Corolla in the front and just plain hideous in the back. The rear reminds me of a Mitsubishi Outlander’s rear, except the scion is way, way shittier.
Don’t overshoot the runway, or you’ll face a firey/choppy death!
Looks good to me. #nosarcasm
Followed by James talking about the Dacia Sandero.
How? A lot of the styling appears to have been lifted from the current CTS.
Mach 25? Holy shitsnacks, I think that is the craziest thing here.
