Depends on your state. In Minnesota, you can get a DUI sleeping in a car that doesn't run. Case went all the way to the state supreme court, they still upheld the conviction even after the police testified the engine was cold at the time of arrest and they couldn't even get it to start. http://thenewspaper.com/news/30/

For the North Korean dictator in us all! It seriously looks like something a corrupt head of state in a country where time stopped in the 1950s would drive.

Welp, guess I'm done watching Top Gear.

Haha. It's been surprisingly ok. Shockingly all I've done in 5 years is oil changes, a clutch & shifter cables, tires, and a plastic water outlet (cracked - $20 new at Autozone). 150hp/155tq and only 2500lbs made for a decent around-town car.

Having a cheap, crap car is great as a extra car, if you have the room for that kind of thing. I've commuted in a crap 98 Cavalier Z24 (with 5 speed) for the last 5 years, instead of putting the mileage on my CTS-V.

Good god I'm glad I don't live in Michigan. I pay $1300 for decent coverage on 4 cars and 2 motorcycles. They all have comprehensive and the newer ones have collision too.

Agreed. I have no problem getting near the redline in my CTS-V even during commutes!

I'm surprised no CTS-V. I guess the only one listed right now for under that price is fugly.

Best $35 I've ever spent hands down. And it works great, I've had no issues with it. It does connect automatically when I start the car (I think it pings the last connected device when powered on). Mic is surprisingly good, my exhaust is loud but people can still hear and understand me.

I'm not surprised people aren't using the included maintenance, it means you have to deal with the abysmal dealer service departments. I tried scheduling an oil change for my 2014 Cruze at the dealer I bought the car at, the service dept is open till 7Pm, but won't take oil change appointments past 4:30pm. What kind

Nope. If I'm spending $25k on supercharged luxury, it's going to a CTS-V. Gen 2 prices should drop after owners start getting rid of them for gen 3.

Ohio. The Florida of the midwest.

Agreed. The 1.4T in my Cruze is getting above the EPA highway rating.

Play the dealers against each other. I got 26% off the sticker price after emailing 9 dealers back and forth. Took a month and a half, but I got the same car for less than the certified used models were going for.

I'll just leave this here:

Wow. Traffic and weather included for that long would be awesome. I hate saying it, but I think the current 200 is actually kind of sharp. Never thought I would like a Chrysler, lol. The current gen 200 wasn't out when I was looking, so I tested a dart with a stick (Mopar edition) and 1.4t, but hated the engine. It

It was probably LED taillights? That's just the camera frame-rate (FPS) capturing images faster than the LED pulse rate.

No, I'm not going to drive and look at radar on my phone. But since Chevy/XM didn't put map/radar on the Cruze, not going to do it in the car either. All the XM gives is current weather conditions and 5 day forecast, which I can get from my phone with voice commands, and it doesn't cost me $24 extra a year.

My Cruze has this (minus radar map) thru XM. But XM wants $2/mo for something my phone will tell me for free, so fuck that!

Seems to be mixed bag. Two of the three cars I've had with automatic headlights turned them on when wipers were turned on (Cruze and 05 CTS-V). Older Grand Prix did not.
