Some things in this story don’t make sense to me.

Yeah, Tesla raised about $800mil by going public if memory serves.

Shhh, you're ruining an article about stocks that also doesn't assume that the company grows in order to "pay back" it's market cap

For reference, on their 2019 balance sheet their total common stock + additional paid in capital was like $19 Billion which is a closer approximation of “money put into” tesla.

Market cap is not the same as “the amount of money the stock market has put into it(tesla)”. Market cap is the current combined valuation of all shares based on current price. But the vast majority of those shares were purchased at an earlier date/lower price, or were even given for $0 cash as equity awards to Musk

The foundation of the GOP is to take money from poor people and give it to rich people. That’s it. Anything else is to get to that path.

That would explain whatever the fuck is on Ted Cruz’s face.

I heard (am starting) a rumor that many of these guys had been following the news about the new Sex and the City project.

How the GOP makes a decision.

Conservatives use a lot of words that they don’t understand the meaning of.

GOP: “Capitalism is the way!”

The big battery would be awesome for powering an RV... if you didn’t have to use it to get to (and more importantly from) your destination.

And many developed sites have 240V/50A power.  So long as you’ve got an on-board charging setup to handle the AC-to-DC conversion at a high enough throughput, it’d be very easy to fully charge over night.

Might make the Range Rovers reliable

Yes, it is but a single vehicle, specifically an early version of a new car company’s most complex car, driven in very specific conditions and maintained at certain repair centers with certain pricing.

Plus, in an EV, they’re used to cool the batteries.

Best part of this thread is all the Tesla fans who are proving yet again that they are incredibly thinned skinned about even the slightest critique of their cars

I love articles like this... really cool to see how super high mileage cars play out.

Well stated kinjapilot.

Quite the impressive story—glad you wrote it.
