My only complaint about Deadspin is that they never had round table of scores or free agency tracking, solely because I bet they would’ve done something creative in that department.  But yes, deadspin with the basics was usually cut and paste with some witty dialogue in-between.  Much more pleasing than any ESPN

The “Ads Complaint” post was technically the domino that fell instead of these stick to sports posts today.  Thus the plug in ads were that slush fund for the big hats to get their money and run and disappear

Finding a favorite bartender is one of life’s most important tasks. I never had a true friend type bartender but ive met a few bartenders that transcend time and will be forever awesome. Breweries I like more than bars but they are usually run by a group of friends; I always feel like I’m invading their personal space

Ever since that double doink playoff game Nagy has lost his aggressiveness. It was a sudden phase of teams saying “fuck it” on 4th down last year and I’d say that was my most satisfied sight for me as a Bears fan last year. I strongly wished all of those red zone encounters Bears had on Sunday were going for it on 4th

Plus the average amount of comments each article is about 30-50, so yeah, they have no excuse.

......you're the best kind of right

ELO id replace over Rush. Ramones,Thin Lizzy and Stooges should be around the bend too

*starts to listen to Steely Dan like a fucking scared dweeb

^^ My exact feeling on Pink Floyd. As for bands I just don’t like but everyone tells me I should: The Who. I really don’t like their early stuff while their prime years are barely passable.

What kills me the most is the timing of this strike. Yes Lori just got elected in, and 2023 is far out of reach for her at this point, but what a way to introduce yourself to Chicago, lord knows the other choices would’ve been in hot water already. Part of me wishes Rahm was still in, but he’s just close 200 more

But it has economic strife, case in point the South Side.

I honestly feel that people that write about Chicago and don’t live here are those people that move here to Lincoln Square and bolt out to the suburbs or Nashville after 2 years. A couple of weeks ago I read an Economist article about the Red Line and the writer seemed flabbergasted of the change of scenery on the

Altuve has 3 batting titles in a row similiar to Ichiro and has finally hit homers consistently, in his prime years. Dude can easily kiss 3000 hits in about 7 years and has hit past 300 most of his career, I really cant see why I shouldn’t get ahead of myself, dude is in.

Hey, that's not nice! Boy, I better get my internet education and take another class on small simple bullshit comments

First decade they haven’t been in the World Series since the 1910s.....since WWI era baseball. Remarkable.

Its weird to see fans not cause interference on that play tbh

As a Astros fan that likes the Yankees over the Red Sox any day, this Yanks team is similiar to the late 90s Yanks, very likeable crew, I hope they don’t show the bucks like their Evil Empire days but very good chance they can lure Gerrit Cole. I think they just need to have Aaron Boone to not read any Craig Counsell

As great as the Giants championships are, along with the Cubs prophecy of dominance only to follow the blueprint of the Red Sox: win and retinker; the Astros are the true dynasty in this decade since they’ve showed up in the ALCS in the last few years, have 100+ wins, use the best pitchers in baseball, and had the

Last year he was mostly hurt, thus the no show in the WS last year and I wish they did to have a consecutive streak, much more meaningful than the goddamn Red Sox

Smart move on Kerr’s part since Golden State has strong ties with the Chinese community in San Francisco, you know, one of the most notable Chinatowns in America. Every now and then the Warriors rock their Chinese uniforms as well, usually around Chinese New year.
