But the runaway killer AI robot apocalypse (or biological apocalypse)
could just as plausibly wellwill almost certainly start in China.

I suspect you’re right. I worked in the industry 10 years ago, and the same problems existed then.
Nah, that’d be the V.A.P.E.S they are releasing next year (Very Amazing Performance Edition STi)
This was my first thought as well.
You can’t believe it because you’re privileged enough not to have to deal with the actual issues that the people who are made to wear these sorts of uniforms in real life have to deal with, and you’re also not empathetic enough to understand the perspective of another fellow human being, and how such a thing might…
Yet, the dev did not resist making Jesse’s but bubbly in the astral suit. If you put that suit on, the character model changes completely and her body figure doesn’t have anything in common with how Jesse looks in her jeans and leather jacket. I tried all outfits and the best one is the default, street clothes.
As someone with a multitude of friends who work at Gamestop, Playstation’s naming convention is a godsend.
Honestly, even at the time it was pretty janky - the Enhanced Edition went a decent way to resolving some of the game’s larger issues, but I do remember a significant amount of wonk even then. That said, between the Witcher I and the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R., that was when I realized European game devs were creating…
Agreed. Regretting getting it now tbh. In a weird way it feels nostalgic because it reminds me of the jankiness of that Phantom Menace game from back in the day. Had to do the whole ‘find the exploit’ style of play with that one as well.
On the contrary, I was more than pleasantly surprised by a deeper, more personal article than what the title implied.
I remember how weird i felt that day i opened up the Switch storefront, and it was all the free to play games from the app store, except they all cost 10 dollars or more for some reason.
Pretty sure it’s hand drawn and no one is going to pay that much for 60fps hand drawings. Plus they’re going for a classic anime look and they really nailed it.
Could be a stylistic choice, since most of its inspiration material was drawn on “twos”or every other frame; or literally 12 fps. I mean, that doesn’t mean it looks *good*.
Or you can chose to branch the port, which means you make a snapshot of the game at a point in time, and then you go make all your changes in isolation. For BL3 that means that the Epic version of the code and the Stadia version of the code are two completely separate codebases as of two months ago when they…
It’s not so much Lightning is bad (she’s mostly just kind of bland and inoffensive) as Square kept trying over and over again to make her the next big thing. It’s like how you see movie producers or studios try to push some generic white person as “the next great leading man/woman” and audiences just don’t care. If…
I hated Lightning. She was clearly an attempt to create a popular character on the level of Cloud or Squall without actually making a character. She borrowed tropes and personality from them and little else. Yes. Hope and Vanille were trash. I only liked Sazh and Fang (who was actually an interesting version of what…
It’s not the PC version. That would require Google purchasing millions of commercial Windows licenses, which they have no interest in doing. Stadia is running on some breed of Linux.
Stadia is clearly a disaster, but this particular screw up is the responsibility of the Borderlands devs, or whoever they hired to do the port.
I don’t really like the taste of soju, but what I really hate is the Korean manner of drinking it: not as something to enjoy, have a good time, but as something to get very, very drunk, go out tumbling on the streets and then puke. It doesn’t make sense to me.
